check engine light came on; repair shop said head gasket leak; didn't have $ to have them fix it; friend replaced intake manifold gasket (wasn't the head gasket), replaced mass airflow sensor, changed oil 2x, runs, but check engine light still on; flushed engine, replaced coolant temp sensor (check engine light went off), replaced thermostat, new coolant but check engine light came back on again. Starts up good but temp guage goes up to white line (not in red yet) but hoses are not hot even to touch. Can you help??
