mass air flow sensor code 101 comes on when scanned

the car would stall when driving in the city but would start right up again check engine light on read code and said mass air flow sensor code 101. cleaned maf sensor but car did same thing again with code 101 so i replaced maf sensor when check engine light pops back on car hesitates and maf code comes back

Check for an unmetered air leakage between throttle body and MAF sensor-if okay test MAF sensor wiring back to the computer
