Need to replace water pump on 96 nissan quest gxe do we have to do timing belt also and is there a guide which is best to use?

its best to do the timing belt while your in there, really because the time and work it takes to get to the point of changing the pump you might as well do the timing also, its just the best thing to do. you might do the pump and then two days later, your belt snaps or something, now you have to go through all that labor again.
