When the car is shift to another gear, it will increase rpm than go back down to its proper rpm for the gear set at the time. Also the car will decrease going up a grade where I have to decrease the shift to move up it. If I give it more gas the rpm jumps up greatly. I changed the plugs and the fuel filter. The plugs have the proper gap. Also the engine light is not staying on or flickering except briefly like it should when I start it.
