windshield wiper motor

is a villeager... ok i just changed it but is not working normal they start upside down what did i do wrong?

Hooked up the wiper actuator arm backwards.

180 degrees out. So that the motor is at the point where it wants to move the wipers down, instead of up. Remove the arm from the motor, and move the wiper arms back and forth a few times so you can see how it should be hooked up properly.
My reference manual doesn't give any useful images or instructions for this procedure. Just says remove and replace.
