the interior cabin lights are staying on

have already paid another site for a answer that i already did and suggested and it still doesn't work. My 96 grand cherokee limited, v8, interior lights wont go off, just bought from private owner who had removed battery, i have already removed each door switch one by one and did not solve the problem
