Leaking gas from exhaust pipe?

Car was riding fine and all of a sudden all at once I started having all kinds of problems. Check engine light came on. Had it check and the knock sensor code came up. Then the next day it started riding rough and the check engine light came on again, i had it checked again and the egr valve code came on. The car was blowing out white smoke but it would clear up. The egr was replaced and 2 injectors was replaced and I was told that my heating coil went completely out and now it is spitting out gas through the tail pipe. Don't know what's going on? All this happening at one time.

I had the valve cover gasket replaced with tune up about 3 to 4 months ago. Could that be part of the problem as well? I am cancer patient just trying to get back and forth to my Dr visits so I really need to know.
