Yesterday I drained the oil and replaced the oil pan gasket. Once complete and oil back in pan with no leaks. I started the car and began to hear a loud ticking. after a few mins, about 3 - 5, the ticking went away. Once I started driving it started ticking again. I then stopped and added 2 quarts of oil the ticking stopped immediately. This morning I had been driving for 30 mins and the ticking has returned. Any suggestions on what it could be and any fixes that I could perform?
