How do I change the oil filter in 1996 GMC Sonoma?

You use an oil filter wrench, the autostore sells them. Oil will probably run out when you loosen filter, use a catch pan underneath, unscrew ccw. On the new filter, I use a little clean engine oil on the filter seal. I also clean off the engine mounting surface, for filter.
