my 1996 geo tracker will not idle runs great no codes what can i do

it starts fine runs great with no codes just will not idle it runs about 2500 rpms all the time

either your throttle plate is slightly open (not easily detected visually) or you have an air leak on other side of it somewhere like hoses or the IAC itself.
