I first noticed it about a week ago when I missed engaging the shifter into a gear and I noticed when I did that I lost the radio, instrument lighting, and eventually found out the rear lights were out but they did still work when I pressed the brake pedal, so I figured a fuse went bad so I found the fuse and replaced it and all seem fine, they all eventually went out again and now the fuse is lit red in the fuse box so now i'm lost..............

The fuse is lit red in the fuse box? Can you explain what you mean by that?

If you switch it with another fuse, does it do the same thing? I've never seen a fuse do this.

that was one option I thought about but I figured something has to be hot to cause the fuse to lite like its a light bulb

If the fuse is getting red hot, it should have blown. Try a different fuse and see if it blows or does the same thing.

Let me know what you find.

well I have narrowed down the possibilities, I replaced the fuse and all was well today when I went to work, but when I got off at 9 tonight I was deliberate to notice anything different and as soon as I switched the lights on to drive home that's when the problem happened, so then I put in another fuse and again it went out so I know the problem is in the switch but not sure what it is.

Start by checking all light sockets to make sure nothing has shorted in them causing this problem. You need to check both the front and rear lights.
