car wont start but lights and radio work?

my 1996 2wd coverable tracker with 74000 miles first acted up yesterday, it acted like it wouldnt start but did after a moment, thought at first that maybe the clutch had'nt been pushed in fare enough.After going to work this am i went to leave and it would'nt start still lights and radio work but car wont start at all?What could be wrong?

Hi rosemary
this could be a loose battery connection .or a starter cable loose. check all the cables for tightness.make sure floor mat is not in the way of the clutch pedal keeping it from going all the way down..
