Transmission not working

I have a 1996 geo tracker with a 3spd automatic transmicion the trans just went blank while driving had to put in park turn off and back on so it would drive for a while and then it would go blank again.Changed the filter and worked perfect for 1 month and one day it went blank again. I have changed the filter twice and it works perfect for about 1 month and then again it go blank..... please help.!

Sounds like something is plugging some of the miniature orifices. Try performing a full fluid swap. Also, have the codes pulled and let us know if any were stored by the computer.

My transmission only shift gears twice.

Good afternoon,

When you changed the filter, was there any dirt or debris in the filter? If there was, then the transmission is full of it.

I attached charts for shifting issues with possible failures. It will need to be checked to confirm the failure.
