i need to remove and replace the camshaft in my 96 tauras se. is this an easy task or should i have a mechanic do it?

Replacing the cam requires the engine to be removed on this vehicle. It truly isn't an easy job. If you haven't done it before, either have someone do it for you, or get yourself a good repair manual.
