Every single question any one had about a automatic transmission problem was answered with check/change fluid filter and If that doesn't help, take it to a shop because it needs a rebuild. What kind of advice is that? When people ask a question about there car not starting, you don't tell them to check/change the oil, if that doesn't help the engine needs a rebuild. 90% of all transmission problems are related to the valve body, and solenoid issues. Something clogged/stuck/broken in the area on the other side of the pan. Most people go to these sites because they work on there own cars, and are looking for some better advice than take it to a shop.

i hear you.the marketing INDUSTRY is FULL of quick fixes that dont always, almost never solve the problem. the miraculous instant fix. it's like a bad joke? as far as trans work goes, it's a tight lipped business like magic acts. i dont think there are any actual trans specialists on the net giving info for free. only because computer codes can specify certain trans functions and the newer electronic controls have made some do it yourself jobs a reality.
