1996 for fairmont ef heater problem

i've got a 1996 forf fairmont ef n the heater is not workin at all but the aircon works just fine. what could be the problem? i was told it might need a new temperature sender thingy? pls help, i know nothin about cars :( thnx!

You will have to check the heater valve and vacuum line, it is on the L/H/S of the engine low down at the rear, it is a black plastic valve, often the vacuum line falls off.
