battery keeps running down

battery keeps running down. this pick up has a tommy lift on it.how do i check for a short and where do i start ? dont know thats its the lift. i can charge the batt and run the truck and it will stay charge for a while then i'll get in it and turn the key and dead

Have you had the alternator and battery tested?

i know its not the batt i have replace it many times now recently they cant all be bad but i have not tested the alt. will do that next and get back to you

it most likely has a draw that is draining the battery. you need to see the parasitic draw and where is it coming from.
