my windshield wiper switch lever on steering column is snapped off ....do i have to replace the steering column or can i replace the individual lever?

you'll have to replace the switch
Removal & Installation

Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove upper steering column cover. Depress switch locking tab. Slide switch outward from steering column. Disconnect connectors. Remove switch from housing. To install, reverse
removal procedure.
