97 dodge stratus

i recently repleced the fuel pump, but last night i drove the car for about an hour and it drained a FULL gas tank, there are no visible leaks but a very strong smell. where should i start?

There's definitely a leak somewhere or you wouldn't be smelling the fuel. If you can't see the leak, have a mechanic check it before something starts on fire. That will cost less than a tank of gas.
