Can't turn boot light off

I noticed only a few days ago that a small light in my boot has switched on, and I have no idea how it turned on, our how to turn it off. Its located insert the stereo speaker on the driver's side. Angry ideas why it turned on, and how to switch it off? It's gradually running the battery down

This time with spell check:

Check for a small slide switch at side of the kight assy. If no switch is present, you would need to check the trunk switch that is located at the latch assy.
