Hello

I have a 96 Chrysler Sebring Convertible has about 120,000 miles on it and the check engine light is on. I retrieved the codes and p1496 and p0112 came up. I cleared the codes ( hoping they'll do away and not come back ) but they came back right away. Now this car also stalls a bit from time to time. Is there something like a wire that is making both codes appear erroneously or are both things wrong with it?

Thank You

They are likely related. One code is for the 5.0 volt supply to the sensors is low. (I've never run into that one before). The other is for the intake air temperature sensor voltage is low. It has to drop below 0.5 volts to set that code. Start by measuring the voltage on the two sensor wires. Also measure all three on the throttle position sensor. One of them must have 5.0 volts. If it's really low, start unplugging sensors to see if the voltage suddenly returns to normal.
