The codes showed that the control module had gone out, along with air lock in gas tank, and O2 sensor. I replaced the control module with a used one. It worked for a few miles, then started acting up again.
I did not replace the O2 sensor, or the air lock, couldn't afford it. Did this cause the new control module to malfunction again?
It is a 2.5 liter 6 cylinder.

first of all, code numbers never identify bad parts, just failed systems. thats why you have to pay for a real diag as as you have seen, throwing parts at it does not work. put your old controller back in and take it to a shop and have them do a real diag and tell you the real reason for the failures.
