driving great last night until it cut out making a turn

My tahoe cranks but will not start. Looks like i dont have and injector pulse and i need to know what is preventing that. i have a strong spark, the fuel pump runs and is producing sufficiant pressure. it will run for a second with a couple squirts of carb cleaner. looking for a little guidance so i'm not chacing my tail. will the crank sensor only produce crank signal instead of crank and fuel signal, am i looking at a computer or spider injector issue or something different all together. any help is much appreciated.
