Would bad spark plugs make the car have starting problems?

New alternanator, new starter and I'm still finding myself going under the hood to touch this small screw on the starter after starting up good for five days.

sounds like either a bad connection at the starter or the actual solenoid id bad.

spark plugs can cause hard starting but hopefully you have changed them at the correct mileage.
