have 1996 chevy camarow it has sludge in top of the raidator you can dig it out with your finger it looks like gobs of grease
it loos like a bad kidney car does not run hot or anything cant figure out where it came from

That is most likely from years of not changing the coolant. Also, if a sealant was ever used in the radiator, that will cause it too. I recommend that you flush the radiator to get all that out.
