i have a push button four wheel drive. 4 lo will engage but 4 hi won't.what could the problem be?

when i push the 4 hi button, it won't engage and stays in 2 hi.when i push the 4 lo button it engages. what could be the cause that the 4 hi isn't engaging?

Check for power to the actuator on the transfer case when you shift. If there is power, you need to check the actuator operation by removing it.
