I'm having issues with my caddy taking a good charge from the alternator. It starts with a jump but dies slowly after the cables are removed. I just replaced the pigtail connector that goes to the alternator but it's doing the same thing. The old connector only had two wires and the new one has the same ones plus an extra bigger wire. Maybe this is the problem? Also there are computer issues after having the steering wheel pulled
