im in the process of changing the water pump and timing belt on a 95 toyota 4 runner 5speed 4x4 v-6. i have almost everything torn down to the crank shaft pulley now im stuck i cant get the bolt loose to remove the pulley i have the tools to pull the pulley if i could get the bolt off. Any ideas on how to keep the pulley in place so i can break the bolt free? i have 1 cyl. at TDC both cams and crank lined up and every thing ive tried to loosen that bolt doesnt work and the crank turns
