re check your timing. it sounds like you are off timing.

re:ASEMaster6371 Thank you. You were right. I used the wrong crankshaft mark. Used the pulley notch first time. But there is a mark behind the gear that i needed to use.

the tensioner has a spring to tension the timing belt. if you are this far, replace it now so it gets the proper attention.
