without checking anything with a test light or meter id say you've got a bad brake switch, or a wiring problem at the switch if all the brake lights quit at once

I did change out the brake light switch, the brake light went on with the old switch then stopped, so then I changed out the brake light switch still nothing, one thing I did notice over the past several weeks the left turn signal blinks rapidly , which it did not do before. are they integrated for this model car

blinkers and hazards use the same filament in the bulb as the brake lights so all the stuff in the back of the car is ok. the one side that flashes more quickly probably has another bulb out somewhere. as far as the brake lights, the orange wire going in to the switch is power in and the light blue wires are power out to the lights. do you have a test light?
