wheel bearing problem

1995 PLYMOUTH VOYAGER

We have a1995 plymouth voyager we changed the tires and a few years ago and now we are going through front wheel bearings, so far 2 on each side, 1st set medium quality and second set high quality any suggestions as to why thanks and sounds like the 5th bearing is letting go Gino

The biggest cause of repeat failure is putting the vehicle's weight on the wheel before torquing the axle nut. Be sure to tighten it to 180 foot pounds unless the instruction sheet lists something different. A large screwdriver in the vent slots in the rotor will keep it from turning so you can tighten the nut to specs.

No, but I have seen custom wheels cause it many times when they have a lot more offset than the OEM wheels.
Doc may be on to something though. Not being tight enough or being submerged in water are about the only things I can think of to accelerate the wear.

Thank you, they are the original factory rims. The van is at my mechanics garage up on a hoist, so the rims would have been torque with a pneumatic gun, before going down. The only water the tires see is normal everyday weather and we do not tow anything with the van. we are at a loss, parts supplies are saying there is something else wrong we cannot find anything. Thank you very much for you assistance, all help is greatly appreciated.
