sensor on fan motor?

Car has a 4 cyl. With one fan theres a sensor coming off cooling fan motor and no one at part stores knows what it is plz help

did you check at the dealer parts for a picture and ID?? lots of times dealer parts are never listed at aftermarket stores.

Just found that it was my problem yest. afternoon so havnt had chance to go to dealer yet ...

Never seen a sensor right off motor like that it has three metal strips like a blower resistor and if i take it off and plug harness straight to fan the car wants to die as soon as i put it in gear ... with it on i can still get fans to turn on if i have a/c on max

you may have to purchase the fan assembly to get that piece.
