The Battary indicaters light red and the Battary is not charging, what is the problem and what fuse to check?

The Battary indicaters light red 3 days ago, the car is still working,then there is no charging of the Battary. What fuses to check and what should I do?

Put a voltmeter on the battery. it should be 14-14.5 volts.

if it is, you may have a failed diode in the alternator.

if it isnt, then the alternator has failed.
