how do i go about getting my gear shaft fixed it wont shaft to reverse and brake light doesnt work neither its an 95 mazda millenia

When the brake lights do not work, the shift interlock system would prevent the gear shifter from being shifted out of park.

Check the brake fuse ( # 5, 20 A ) in underdash fuse block and brake switch on top of brake pedal.
