1995 Jeep Wrangler 4 Cylinder Straight Transmission ~ purchased new . 1. 5th gear was known to be defective andc I paid a small fortune for what was considered a "Correction Kit" and rebuilt transmission . Jeep denied knowledge of the problem even though they sold the "Correction Kit" ! Is this a weakness that will rear it's ugly head again ?
2. The exhaust system was known to collapse on itself and after the third replacement I finally found a custom shop that corrected the problem ~ Jeep denied knowledge of the problem ! ( more for your record than anything else )
3. Bolt snapped from manifold which is also a recognized and known problem~Jeep again denied knowledge of the problem ~ I have exhaust noise coming from manifold for about a minute until metal expands when warming up on Winter mornings . Can this be drilled out and new bolts installed with good results and if so how much should that cost in the Richmond , Virginia area ?
