Don't even attempt it without having the service manual. It will list the parts to remove for your engine, and will list each step in order and will include drawings. This job is real easy on some engines and can be done in an hour. Some are very complicated and time-consuming and can take all day with the car on a hoist. Some require lifting the engine halfway out of the car.
