my car started running hot and i replaced the old thermostat with a new one. it run normal for about an hour then started it again. someone told me that i have to bleed the system to make it stop? There are no apparent leaks and my water keeps evaporating as fast as i pour it in. What can cause that?

You need to first make sure that you have enough coolant in the system. To do this just fill the coolant all the way up then start your car and let it warm up, then let it cool all the way down and refill. Do this until it won't take any more. There is a bleed valve on the thermostat housing that you can open to help the air bleed out but usually you don't need to.
