Low Idle, rough and stall

I have a 1995 with 97000 miles on it. Its a 5 speed. Recently it begin to idle low. While its idling low its a little rough and stalls a bit when i begin to acclerate. Once I am going the car is running fine unless i begin to slow down then it begins to feel like its going to give out, but once i give it more gas then its fine again. When i come to a stop, then the idle goes below 1000 and maybe below 500 but its not dying out but it seems like it wants to. I kind of notice that this occurred after i been using my AC a lot lately, not sure if this ties in with it. i am pretty okay with repair cars but i can not figure this one out. and i dont want to go to a mechanic because they are expensive. another thing, i use the same gas every time if that plays a factor. Over night the car starts up with no problem, but once i get going or when the car heats up, thats when the low idling begins. When i been driving around for a few hours, the car start up but dont fire up like an over night start up. Please help i love this car...
