Almost immediately after hitting a chug hole and stopping at a traffic light, I noticed the break pedal going all the way to the floor. The first repair shop discovered one rear break cylinder leaking. It was my decision to replace both right and left cylinders. This did not correct the pedal issue. The second repair shop replaced the master cylinder and the booster. The pedal issue remains. The breaks never actually failed. Any ideas?

2 repairs and no fix??? did you return to them?? they charged you for something that did not fix your car..................


i would look closely at all the lines. if you bottomed out, you may have crushed a line somewhere

Any competent tech should have been able to easily figure out what the problem is. If hitting a hole triggered the problem, then there is likely external damage to something. They should be able to dead end wheels to find out where the pressure is being lost.
