my starter was going bad b4 we experienced -14 degree weather. it holds a charge and my engine rev's up, but it won't turn over. could it be my spark plugs? a friend suggested it could be the voltage regulator or the battery selinoid switch(?) i'm unemployeed and i don't know much about car's. my apoligies for not being able to contribute a donation, but i could really use your input. thanx.

have an assistant try to start your car then smack starter on body while he's trying to start if starter goes on then it's a starter but if it was bad before then it certainly probably failed due to the cold weather. But have your battery charged and tested autparts do it for free
