if it is charging, there must be a draw on the battery all the time. Have you checked that?

I noticed this morning after charging the battery for ten hours on a 6 amp medium charge that when I was in neutral on my way to work out would idle high and the idle would fluctuate down I have recently replaced the throttle positioning sensor to correct the outside problem but it only happens when I'm having this power issue and I have recently replaced the map sensor

Were you able to get the plugs out? As far as the lights, that doesn't sound like a switch problem. It may have something to do with a ground issue. Check main grounds to make sure they are clean, tight, and free of corrosion.

So I replaced the ground going to the frame and the one that bolts to the transmission and still while I'm driving with the headlights on the idle jumps back and forth from 1.5 - 2 rpms until I come to a complete stop then it drops back to normal
