overheating

how often do you have to add it? you need to know where coolant is going? your losing it somewhere. if not under hood/under car the it probably is going out exhaust pipe? does your exhaust seem to white cloudy/steamy and excessive?

no nothing seems to be wrong with my exhaust. I have to add water more than i should be I know that. At least twice a day if not more

this should be an obvious leak or steam under hood. if you park car and go in and come out is there a puddle under front? are you putting 'anti freeze' in it? puddle should look green if that's the color of your freeze.

Make sure your electric Engine cooling Fan working? If not; check for a bad fuse located in the engine compartment(Drivers side); not the fuse box located under dash. This is very common in this particular car (especially the V8 fully loaded). If the fuse is O.K.;check to see if your fan is seized up.
Also; check to see if water is flowing freely through your heater core. These two problems are often overlooked.
Note: Do not assume the fan is broke when first starting the vehicle. Do not try spinning the fan by hand while the engine is running. The fan may not operate until the car is running at normal Temp. It may come on unexpectantly, and quickly! Remember; you will need your fingers to make repairs!
