i have a 1995 ford probe se 4 cyliner it will go about 50ft and you will hear a pop and when u try to accelerate after that all it will do is rev up i replaced the cv axles and it still continues to this be aware this car is a automatic

scan for codes and have a trans guy look at it, sounds like an internal trans/converter problem.

i dont' think so i think maybe where the axle goes in it iseither cracked or stripped out causing this.
