Husband has a 1995 F-250 7.3 diesel p/u truck. The cam sensor was changed on Friday. It will start, but will not stay running. Do the batteries need to be disconnected to reset computer?
Husband has known this truck since it was new. Worked on it for the first 8 years of its life. In 2010 he was able to buy truck at a reasonable price. All he ever did to the truck was routine maintenance. Started p/u on Friday morning. It ran for about five minutes and died, would not start again.
Spoke to several mechanics and they troubleshooted to cam sensor. Cam sensor was changed. It will start now, but will not stay running.
