i replaced ecu on my 95 f150. after that battery drained and engine sound broken, oil leaks, and fuel leaks from the engine. what happened? I spent $800 at a shop to fix a bad wire harness that was messing up the ecu. after that I thought I would save my self $400 and replace the ecu my self. got one on ebay for $70. I called the dealer to get id for ecu and this is what they gave me. f5tf 12a650 yb witch is what i got from ebay. after i replaced the ecu i tried starting the truck but it would only crank. by the 3rd time, battery was already weak then the engine started making a roaring sound, but it almost feels like its coming from the transmission. so I'm thinking its the starter, because it doesn't sound like the engine is turning any more. I looked under the hood and can smell gas fumes and notice fuel leaking by the fuel lines going to the engine but can't really tell were its coming from. looked under the truck and noticed oil dripping. i think oil is all over the starter. I tried jumping the battery but nothing changed. still making loud sound. then I put the old ecu back to see if it would start being that it used to start with it, but its still just a loud noise. i did unplug the negative battery terminal before installing ecu. so my question is, what happened?
