Requires mostly basic mechanic tools. (Real Tools)
Assistance is nice to have!
A Chilton or Haynes repair manual would really help you a lot, they have step by step instructions---GREAT DIAGRAMS!--CAUTIONS!--Tests, and a lot more.......Then you can also use it later, if need-be! It would also sorta give you some insight before you start.
They are wonderful for Troubleshooting and Scheduled Maintenance!
'Round here, you see people doing the ole peek-a-boo, in the manuals at the parts stores---Reminds me of the gals at the grocery store, reading the drama magazines!
