Just bought this Aerostar van (fantastic condition). No remote key. I bought the proper remote online, but using the one/off ignition programming method, doesn't seem to do anything. Vehicle manual doesn't mention a remote. Is it possible this XLT Aerostar that has all the other bells and whistles did not have a remote system built into it? If so, can this be added by a dealer or someone else? And how expensive would that be? Thanks for any light you can shed on this subject.
