need help please

i have a 95 neon just replaced piston rings, brand new head on it new cam, new battery drives fine for about 10-15 mins then it will suddenly lose all power and shut down completely why? no warning or nothing... not over-heating or anything just dies.

Common failure due to heat is the camshaft position sensor. That will result in no spark and the fuel pump won't run except for the first one second after turning on the ignition switch. Measure the voltage on the dark green / orange wire, (I think) at the coil pack or any injector. You should find 12 volts for that first one second after turning on the ignition switch, then again during engine rotation, (cranking or running). If it doesn't come back during cranking, suspect the cam sensor as most likely, or the crankshaft position sensor.

You should be getting a Check Engine light and there would be a diagnostic fault code stored in the Engine Computer. Most auto parts stores will read those codes for you for free.
