Can you bypass a/c and make a belt still work

95 s10 4.3 a/c locked can i bypass it with belt and still make it work...

yes,you can,there may be a kit with a bracket and pulley that bolts on in place of the compressor,if not just get a shorter belt.remove the comp. and use a peice of string to measure the length.

Just to add this one dorman makes bypass pulleys for almost every application.
