I have a 95 V8 Chevy Camaro and i'm having trouble with the MAF sensor. I replaced the MAF sensor because of a trouble code. Two days After replacing the MAF sensor the check engine light came on again and again it was a MAF sensor trouble code So i repalced it again and the light went away. The following day the check engine light came on again and again a MAF sensor trouble code. I was wondering what could be causing the MAF sensor to fail so fast.

check for an air leak between the MAF and the throttle body in the duct work. If there is a hole in the duct it may set the MAF code. Also check for vacuum leaks and clean the throttle body plate and IAC on both sides.

I did not find any air leaks or vacuum leaks. I have also cleaned the throttle body plate and IAC and the check engine light still comes on.
